Drawing |Solange Knopf

I am delighted to announce the opening of our next exhibition this Sunday, May 10, from 2 to 6 pm. It will feature works on paper by Solange Knopf and Maria Ñíguez, as well as ceramics by Antoine Moulinard. “Les veilleurs” (“The watchers”) is an exhibition of works imbued with a powerful presence. The pieces are otherworldly and gothic, as if plucked from a castle haunted by ghosts and swept by drafts. Solange Knopf (Belgium, 1957), whom we are finally welcoming back to our gallery since her last solo exhibition in 2017, is a leading figure in outsider art. Her lines and characters wind and blossom on black paper like emanations, spectres, and enigmatic genealogies. Justine Jacquemin
